Penske Power Systems, a leading distributor of diesel and gas engines and power systems across Australia and New Zealand, is pleased to announce the appointment of Sean McLean to the position of Director On-Highway, focusing on the Detroit and Allison brands.
This positon was vacated by Kevin Dennis in June 2016, following his promotion to the position of Managing Director of Penske Commercial Vehicles.
Sean will be responsible for the management of on-highway sales and aftersales, product and technical support along with dealer development. He will oversee the relationship with the key OEM partners Western Star and Freightliner, as well as Allison sales and support functions.
“Sean brings with him a wealth of experience in heavy-duty diesel engines for the on-highway market, along with a strong passion for customer service,” said Rob Sisk, President and CEO, Penske Power Systems.
Sean is excited to join the Penske Power Systems team and represent market-leading brands Detroit and Allison Transmission.
“The Penske organisation in Australia and New Zealand is quickly gaining a reputation for its customer- focused approach to doing business in the on-highway market, and I look forward building upon this in my role,” Sean said.
He comes to Penske Power Systems with extensive experience in account management, dealer development and sales and marketing, having spent over 22 years building his career within Cummins South Pacific, most recently as its General Manager – Marketing and On-Highway Products.
Sean will start in his new role in late September 2016.
